Raj Kundra was arrested in July 19 for his connection to pornographic content production and distribution case, however his lawyers had called his arrest as ‘illegal’. Revealing the real reason for the businessman’s arrest, public prosecutor Aruna Pai had informed the Bombay High Court that he had stated deleting WhatsApp groups and chats, thus ‘destroying evidence’. Raj Kundra’s IT associate Ryan Thorpe has also been arrested in the matter accused of deleting the evidence.
